Yellow rules 2nd day ‘takraw’ tourney

Unit III exhausted Unit I with sunbacks and head spikes in the Game 3 Sepak match, 2-1, in front of the CSC Main Bldg., Thursday.

“Kadakol man ning mauulag talaga sa grupong an, ang iba d’yan participants sa Bicol Meet”, affirmed Rudy P. Tablizo, Sepak Takraw Tournament Manager.

The Yellows heated the game with their spikes and digs.

Reds tried to tighten their defense; however, Yellow’s assertiveness, plus Dave Taroy’s downpour of hot spikes and scissor kicks, never let them get through, which resulted to Red’s victory on the first set.

Unit I seemed almost dauntless during the second quarter. Serafin Atienza displayed his skill as an effective feeder and counter attacker as well. His precise spikes aided them in dominating the quarter with 21-18.

Yet, on the last match, Yellows ended the game for the Reds.
