Unit I retained their title as the over-all champion upon garnering a total of 87 gold, 33 silver, and 20 bronze medals in the recently concluded 2012 CSC Intramurals.
The Red team is comprised of College of Technology—Department of Engineering, Department of Information and Communications Technology, and Department of Industrial Technology.
Unit 1 dominated in almost all the sporting events including basketball (men), volleyball (men and women), lawn tennis (men and women), chess (men and women) and others.
In the Final and official result releases by the Sports and Athletics Office, Unit I men’s team earned 63 gold, 18 silver, and 10 bronze medals; while its women’s team chalked up 24 gold, 15 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, Unit II was able to maintain their last year’s standing as 1st runner up upon earning 39 gold, 75 silver, and 49 bronze medals.
The Blue sharks built conquest in athletics and earned 15 gold, 56 silver, and 19 bronze medals in the men’s division; and 24 gold, 19 silver, and 30 bronze medals in the women’s division.
Unit III landed as 2nd runner up after garnering 31 gold, 39 silver, and 64 bronze medals.
The Unit III players earned 12 gold, 14 silver and 50 bronze medals in the men’s division; and 19 gold, 25 silver, and 14 bronze medals in the women’s division.
